North East Ecology is a small ecological consultancy based in Mansfield, north east Victoria. The principal consultant, Sue Ablitt, has over fifteen years of experience in preparing assessments, plans and reports for clients, with a focus on native vegetation assessments, land management plans and conservation plans.
Sue is a qualified botanist (B.Sc. Hons – Monash University), and holds DELWP competency certification in the habitat hectare method. She is a member of the Ecological Consultants Association of Victoria (ESA Vic), a non-profit organisation that supports and represents the ecological consulting industry.
Most of our projects are based in the Goulburn Broken Catchment, including the towns and rural areas of Alexandra, Kinglake, Flowerdale, Euroa, Yea, Benalla, Violet Town, Shepparton, Wangaratta, Seymour, Yarrawonga and Mansfield, but we welcome requests and inquiries from other regions in Victoria.
